It's been over 20 years since I played tennis, but I decided to join the Monday night tennis group from church anyway. It was just Mike and I tonight, but I had a lot of fun, and he at least put up with me.

Day 15

Great day at our community health & safety fair. This is "Ol' Bootstrap", our used shoe drive mascot!

Day 14

Last day of the season for "chord praise"... My fingers are always so sore after a fun Sabbath afternoon playing guitar with 8 or 9  others.

Fun with levers... Checkers, a ruler, and a pill bottle make for a fun science lesson. Homeschool rocks!

Day 12

Sarah needs some more work on how to properly form her cursive letters, so we ordered this book for her. She's very excited to get started on it today!

Really? It cost more in paper, ink, and postage to send us this check, than the check was actually worth.

The kids will be flying home from Utah by themselves this summer, so they have to have "government issued id cards". Here's Hannah getting her picture taken. Sarah stayed home with grandpa today, so I'll take her next week.

The ladies quartet I sing with, Willing Heart, did an Easter concert at an assisted living facility this afternoon. God was blessing!

Hopefully this picture isn't too blurry - I had to zoom in a bit and since it was on my phone it might not be great.
We've had "yard bunnies" for several weeks now, and nobody in the neighborhood knows where they came from. But they're sure cute!

Vacation is awesome... The pile of work waiting when I come back, not so awesome.

Day 1, take 2014... Now that we're homeschooling again...

I was talking to a friend about this project this afternoon, and decided to try again. Maybe I'll actually make it to 365 days this time.
Today's photo was taken on the last day of our vacation to Sunset Bay State Park on the Oregon Coast. What a fun week!
