Day 163
They finally came this afternoon to pick up the shoes from our used shoe drive! 175 more bags of shoes today for a total around 6,550 pairs with what they picked up previously. Way to go, Pathfinders!

Oops, I missed a couple days this week. Just crazy busy.
Took Hannah to get a shot at the county health department and saw this cute table in the waiting area.

Here's the rubber stamp I carved at the Letterboxing honor class yesterday. I'm more pleased with it than I expected to be. (Actual stamp on the left, stamped image on the right)

Day 145
We joined up with a group of homeschoolers for a field trip to the Historic Butte Creek Mill this afternoon. Some of them I knew from before, some I hadn't met before. It was a nice trip. The mill is a hundred years older than I am, and one of only two water-powered mills remaining in Oregon.

Day 141
Had such a fun day at Waterworks Park in Redding! Charlie's dad's cousin Velda lives in Redding, so she brought her little "adopted" (by way of friendship, nothing legal) granddaughter (age 7) and joined us for the day. It wasn't overly crowded and we rode and rode and rode those water slides. What a surprise to run into a friend from Medford there with her family. Afterwards, Velda took us to dine at an amazing Chinese restaurant at the airport. Heading home now. Definitely a perfect last day before school starts tomorrow! Homeschool, that is!
(Two pictures because Sarah closed her eyes in one and Hannah wasn't smiling in the other because the sun was too bright. )
